Profiling the Pretenders

The book of Jude is a part of Scripture that has a dual application, both immediate and far-reaching. It was a timely message when it was first distributed among the early church. By the miracle of God's Word, it is just as timely today as it was then.

Jude shares some very important information: in the last days, there is going to be a horrible trend that develops in the church. There will be ungodly, unsaved people who infiltrate the church, take positions of leadership and teaching and preaching, and they have no business there – they are pretenders, liars; they are dangerous to immature believers, and they leave people confused and hurt.
