Reconciled

And you and I live in a day when the true identity of Jesus needs to be exalted – because people are so confused about who Jesus is. The name of Jesus is more famous than ever, but just as the Apostle Paul warned in 2 Corinthians 11:3-4, the true identity of Jesus has been distorted; people have bought into many variations of who Jesus is.

No wonder people are confused! The Christians in Colosse were being confused by the idea that there was some secret key to the Christian life that Paul had not told them – worshiping angels, discovering some great mysterious principle… Paul wrote to remove all confusion that Jesus is all we need!

Let's look at Colossians 1:19-23.
