Qualified

Two things happen when you are in a very difficult season of pain, loss or trouble in your life: it pushes you and you decide which direction you are pushed – closer to the Lord or away from the Lord.

As we look at Colossians 1:9-14, remember that Paul was in prison for loving Jesus, preaching the Gospel and planting churches. Because of the spiritual climate, Paul was concerned that the dear people in Colosse would be deceived by a counterfeit spirituality. He wanted them to experience, exhibit and evangelize genuine Christianity.
