The End has Come

The book of Amos can be divided into four main sections:
(1) Eight Prophecies. (1.1-2.16)
(2) Three Sermons. (3.1-6.14)
(3) Five Visions. (7.1-9.10)
(4) Five Promises. (9.11-15)

We have heard the eight prophecies and three sermons. We have seen three of the five visions of horrible things that were about to become reality: locusts, wildfire, and plumb line. In Chapters 8-9, we are going to see the last two visions. Let's look at the visions of the summer fruit and the warning of their sentence.
