Alive Forevermore

Today is the day we remember and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. He was crucified. They unpinned the nails that held Him on the cross, and they wrapped His dead body in strips of linen and laid it in a tomb. They rolled a large stone across the entrance of that tomb. And it seemed that that was the end of Jesus.

But then, very early on Sunday morning, some of the women who had followed Jesus went to His tomb to complete the customary burial procedures, and they found the stone rolled away, and the tomb was empty – Jesus was not there! All our hope as Christians hinges on that fact.
