How can you get involved?
The CARE ministry has many opportunities to serve. Every Tuesday at 5:30 PM on the first floor of Building B, we gather to eat and then go out to make gospel visits in the community. CARE does not meet on the 5th Tuesday of the month.
In the spring, join your Life Group to design and carry out a service project that shows love in a practical way to our community with face to face interaction with our lost neighbors. Many of the Life Groups continue this throughout the year.

We are thrilled to be serving along side with Chinese immigrant church plant, All Points Church at Hudson.
For years, our youth have been serving in Clarksdale and have seen many come to faith in Christ. Our church is honored to join with gospel partners on the ground there to win the lost and strengthen the church.
In June, we will once again assist Calvary Church with their annual soccer camp. In October, we will assist them with their annual Fall Festival.

In September, we will serve with church plant Mosaic Baptist Church through servant evangelism and community service projects reaching people with a diverse range of backgrounds from Anglo, to Caribbean, to Jewish.
In December, we are planning a trip to work along side IMB missionaries to reach Thais through English teaching and prayer walking.
In June, we'll be working with New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Coronado, Panama, to reach unreached villages with the gospel and plant new churches plus strengthen the two church plants we helped them start.
In July, we're planning a trip to strengthen church plants and help Santa Cruz Baptist Church plant. Ministry may include home visit evangelism, children's ministry, medical work and construction.
In July, we will once again serve with Orbit Village Project (www.orbitvillage.org.) ministering to orphaned and vulnerable children. Ministry includes presenting Zawadi bags and the gospel to children, doing evangelism and strengthening church plants.
In the fall, we will be taking the gospel to a majority Muslim culture through English as a Foreign Language or through a basketball camp.
For the past several years, an FBC team has served with partners in the Middle East to strengthen gospel work through construction on sports facilities and other buildings.
In September, we will be ministering with JPA Ministries to train pastors, start new churches and spread the gospel. Ministry may include children's work, evangelism, construction and medical work.
MISSIONS BASIC TRAINING
If you plan to serve on an FBC mission team the Missions Basic Training Class is required. Our next class is scheduled for Sunday, September 23rd from 3-6 in E-220. Call 429-6303 to register for this class by Monday, September 17th. Childcare is available. If you have already completed this class, you don't need to retake it.
