We are extremely excited that you are considering visiting First Baptist Church! Whether you are from the local area or are visiting the Great Smoky Mountains, we want your worship experience to be an unforgettable one. We like to tell our visitors that, "We are a small church where lots of people go," and we want you to feel welcome and at home with The First Family! Sunday morning worship services begin at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. Bible Study Fellowship Groups begin at 9:30 a.m. Our evening worship service begins at 6:30 p.m. (see our complete church schedule). Visitors should arrive ten minutes before their desired worship time to allow for parking.

Parking

We reserve plenty of parking for visitors just outside FBC's main entrance. Just look for the signs, or ask a parking volunteer for assistance. Handicap parking, special-needs parking and parking for new or expectant mothers is also available near the main entrance. Parking Lot Attendants are available throughout our parking lot to direct you and give you information.

A Warm Welcome

Helpful greeters, ushers, and staff members are located at church entrances and at the Welcome Center in the church's main atrium to welcome and assist you. Whether you need directions, times, or have questions, stop by and ask one of our friendly volunteers. If you need help finding a Bible Study Fellowship Group or would like information on our church or upcoming events they will be happy to help you.

Child Care

First Baptist Church has an excellent preschool ministry. We offer preschool child care from bed babies through 5 years. Our Welcome Center is located just outside the Preschool Department and our greeters will be happy to assist you in getting your child to his or her class.
